reassembling port valve actuators -- question

I've been wallowing deep in my intake system, cleaning up stuck port valves, etc., and I can't remember the assembly order for the rods that extend through the extension manifold from the actuators to the actual valves themselves.

each rod goes into the extension manifold through a rubber seal. The rod has a groove in it to hold a V-shaped washer to prevent the seal from coming out. There's also a regular washer on the rod. My question: Is the regular washer supposed to go on the INSIDE of the V-shaped washer, against the seal, or on the OUTSIDE of the V-shaped washer next to the retaining plate (the one that bolts on with two phillips screws that always get rounded off)?

Thanks all.

Wow. That's deep. Unfortunately, it's been too long since I worked on an N/A that heavily. You may want to try the fc3s_org@yahoogroups.com email list. There are some top-notch N/A guys that will be able to answer your question in about 5 seconds Now, if you've got a question about a TII...

Good luck

Rubber inboard, metal outboard..
By the way, good luck with the lower intake gasket. I broke mine and it took 3 hours to clean up the stuck on pieces.
