Rear wiper no worky worky! Ideas?

The back window wiper on my 1990 T2 doesn't work. It never worked, but it didn't really bother me before. But now it's snowing. What's the most common failure point on these? I'm guessing the relay shiet like the front wiper... any ideas?

pull it out/remove it all together, it only creates un-needed wind drag

Yup it is a relay just like the fronts. You can either replace it with a new switch ($$$) replace it with a used one that will also go bad later, repair it yourself or Joe Romeo at www.fc3s.org repairs them as well.
