rear wheel bearing

This is really pissing me off. I figured that it would be nice and easy like the front. I was deffinatly wrong. I worked at it for about 4 hours tonight and its still not off. I did realise that the whole assembly needs to come off but the diagonal bolt is not coming loose. Im thinking of giving up, putting it back together and that it to a mechanic. Does anyone have any tips that might help. I need to get it done by next wednesday and im afraid that if i take it somewhere they wont be able to do it in time. Well thats what i get for procrastonating.
