The back I would assume doesn't make as much of a difference as long as it bolts to the strut tower.
wrong...very wrong....... ive purchased 2 front bars from ebay, and either of them never hit the alternator, they actually fit great..... im gonna buy a cusco one soon just for the peerdyness of it, but the cheap ebay ones are perfectly fine (at least the 2 that i purchased)..(i cant vouch for EVERY company!) you were just referring to ALL ebay strut bars,

I bought a $35 no-name front bar on ebay and it cleared everything. Had to hammer it in to fit the rings over the towers though. I noticed a definite change in steering response, especially low-speed understeer when I gassed it.

Would anybody be interested in doing a strut bar group buy? The ones I am getting in are almost exactly like the corksport ones except the brackets are black instead of blue. Also on the front there are no cut-out pieces on the brackets (holes yes but that cut out nearest the bar is solid). I would be willing to do $90 shipped (in the US) per bar or $170 shipped for a set of front an rear. Just thought I'd ask.

my rear strut bar is actually not a strut bar its a 3 point roll bar (5 point if you count the massive gusset plates attaching the bar midway up the sides, look at the drivers seat belt, heh)

Anything CP Racing makes is a "POS"with no thought ,fit or little if any function.Yes I speak from direct experience also.

Is that safe to have the harnesses at that angle?

Infini front bar, but i'm going to make my own rear bar out of powdercoated steel tube. not sure what size or wall thickness yet. if i could get my hands on aluminum tubing then i'd use that instead.
