Rear steer (DTSS) instillation service for small price. Thoughts?…

I had a thought that I wanted to see what everyone’s input and interest was. After doing Kevin’s Rear DTSS (rear steer) elimination I was thinking about doing a DTSS service for the people on the forum. You send me your hubs and the rear steer eliminators and I will send you a clean hub with the eliminator bushing installed, for a little fee. What is everyone’s interest in this or is it to much of a haste. I have read on the forum of people taking there hubs to non RX-7 shops and they mess it up, or taking it to RX-7 shops and they charge you and arm and a leg. So this would be a chance to have it done by someone that knows what they are doing and will do it right the first time. Let me know what you think.

I think it would be great if close by, like a walk in, or if they could be dropped off in person. If it were shipped, not only additional cost, the car would be down for days. Just my thoughts.

I would definetly be interested.

What I would be even more interested in is if you could offer a service to replace bearing in the hubs too.

Or maybe a service where you just order the finished product with the bushings already in, than send your old set back. It'd be much quicker, but youd have to keep a handful of hubs around...

Just about a year ago I sent a pair of hubs to SpeedSource Inc and had new bearings and DTSS bushings shipped to them from Mazda Motorsports. For around $75.00 labor they blasted them, installed new bearings, new DTSS bushings and their super long wheel studs (the studs were around $5.00 each on top of the labor).

If you could compete with their price and quality you could get a good amount of business.
