Rear Shock/strut tower

How do you get rid of that shroud? I have the speaker out, and all of that. I can easily GET to the strut tower, but it has that stupid shroud on the outside of it. So, do i just sawzall/grind that out of there? (note I also stripped everything out of this car, so damaging something isnt an issue) Or is there another way to remove it?

Sawzall worked for me. I then used a grinder to smooth the edges out. If you want to get serious and get it all out grind the spot welds and peal it away from the shock tower.

Think last time i was at kragen i saw a grinder for 15 bucks, i could go pick that up, and i would be one step closer to having everything done. Not to mention that it would make fabing an undertray that much easier. Or stripping out more un needed pieces.

Thanks for the input!
