rear iron water temp sender question.

i searched up and down, but oddly enough, there isnt any more info on this component other than its there.

where does the wire it hooks into go to? i recently did a t2 swap and the wire is now gone. does it connect to a black single wire connector under the two coils close to the firewall?

anyone have thread information on this by any chance?

I believe it connects to the Sender which is under the Oil Pedestal. In That area also you will find the oil temp sender(N/A anyhow).

It connects to a single YELLOW wire (yellow / red or yellow / white), which snakes into the main engine harness.

what happens after that? the reason why im asking this is because i have gone stand alone and still want to retain the usage of the poopy water temp gauge. unless there is a pitting that can go there and i can use an aftermarket one.

It goes into the crossover plug that's located in the passenger side kickpanel.
There's two plugs there, but there's only one yellow wire.
Just splice it into that wire, and your stock water temp should work.
I've explained this MANY times in the Haltech section.
