Is the s4 rear hatch the same as the s5? Would I be able to swap one for the other?

 

yes, it should fit

 

only thing different is the struts and wiring (as the S4 models have the truck light on one of the struts).

 

are the "locking points" for lack of a better word the same? i remember lookin for a new rear hatch for my 87 an it has round posts that it locks on.. i found a hatch same color with good tint but the locking posts were like u bolts instead of round pins.

 

as far as i know they are both the same other then as icemark said the light on the s4 is on one of the shocks and on the s5 it is mounted about a foot above the jack.
