Rear end wobble. Not the wheels/rims.

The wobble is an up and down motion and I can't tell if it's the rear pass. or driver side. When I go to take off from a stop it wobbles slow and is very obvious, but as I accelerate the wobble is starts to fade and is not felt at high speeds.

I have tried a couple of diff wheel/tire on the rear with the same result.
Any help would be great thanks.

Maybe a bent axle flange/axle? Can you jack it up and run the car a low speed to see if there is any runout?

Ok, what is runout?

I was planning on jacking the rear end up and put it in gear to see which side is wobbles.

But that's as close as I will get to diagnosing. Im not sure which parts can bend and cause the wobble.

How do I check the axles for runout? And what sounds am i listening for?

Runout is the amount of movement in a radial direction due to warpage or uneven wear. If you can see the axle jumping up and down with the car running in gear with the rear on jack stands, then it's a warped axle. It could also be a warped rotor, believe it or not. The CV joints can wear out too, making a low-pitched vibration and wobble as well. Many things back there can make that noise, just take a look.

I tried to add to my post but my interweb tubes were slow. I hit the back button and realized I was in the 2nd gen section, a bent axle flange is more of a 1st gen issue.

Just look at the rim as it spins, then take off the wheel and look for movement on the disc, keep taken stuff off until you find the part that looks like it wobbles. Shake stuff, twist stuff.

How do your brakes feel? Any long pedal issues? If the disc is part of the wobble it may knock the pads back into the calipers.

Is your mount worn out? If one mount is good and the other is bad that could maybe cause a wobble. Or your drive shaft could be unbalanced.
