Rear end squeaks and groans
I have a odd story, My wife and I bought new a 1991 Mazda RX-7 coupe, drove it for 5 years and traded it in, recently while doing a web search, I came across our old vehicle and for lack of another sane reason, we purchased it. I have been driving it and noticed that it has some rear end noise when going over bumps, etc. I suppose it could be part of the rear suspension but was looking for a reasonable assessment from RX-7 owners. Thanks for the info. MK

Most likely it is the sublinks that mounts the rear swingarms to the subframe.
I had a bad creaking noise and I replaced them...all gone.

All the way at teh bottom ...they call them stock rear chamber links.
