rear end problem

ok, There is something wrong with the rear end of my car. I have new shocks and springs back there, so that cant be it. Its an 86 GXL, and whenever i hit a bump, or stop hard, there is a thump at the rear passenger side. It seems to take bumps really hard back there, and its loud. this also seems like it causes the car to hop, if i hit a series of dips in the road under acceleration or something. I dont know if its a wheel bearing, I tried moving the wheels up and down and they are on there solid, so i have no idea. Any help would be appreciated.

good one, but i dont have tire flies.

The springs are Racing Beat springs, about 4 months old, and the shocks are Tockico Illuminas

This is probably the common.......

Broker front Diff mount.

Do a search, much discussion on how to replace these. Many will say you need to drop the rear sub-frame. But, actually, all you need to do is tilt the drivers side. Unless you do either, you can't get to the two 17MM mounting bolts.

Afterward, be sure and get your rear toe re-aligned.
