Rear end mounts

hey guys I just noticed tonight that I broke my rear end mount at my last race last year . i want to beef it up as much as possible , do you guys have any sugestions or links to other post ???

yea just box in the stock one... takes a couple pieces of steel.... couple welds easy

you might want to reinforce the differential mount bracket found on the crossmember (the place where you put the differential mount on the car, has 2 slots) these tend to break fairly easily on our cars, bad design on mazda.


and if you're gonna use a solid steel differential mount i imagine its gonna put more stress on that little bracket and snap it to pieces.

yea I've already replaced the diff bushings with uhmw.. so the whole thing is pretty ridged.... next is the sub frame bushings... going to make them out of uhmw....

They have those on EBAY. "Scalliwag" sells them for like $60-$65. I've purchased 2 of them from him already. Works really good...

I agree. Mazda "forgot" to weld half of mine on my S5. Finished their welding and added some bracing, so it should be fine now.

ya its damned sad how mazda made such a bad *** car and overlooked such a small piece that is soooo important.
