After i get my car painted, i was thinking of taking off the emblems on the back and putting on a single one in the center. Has anyone tried this? Not the stock emblem, but something a tad bigger or maybe even a 3rd gen one. Anyone know of where any are sold? Or will i have to make my own.

 

If your going to have the car painted I would take the emblems off first, but you should just be able to call the Mazda dealer.

 

i know to take the emblems off, i am talking about after the paint job...

 

don't think you could... the key holes in the way, unless you put it above or below.

my friend that i bought my car from didn't have an emblem on the driver side, just the passenger side mazda one, and i think that looks fairly nice. you can see a small pic of it in my sig.

 

I think it looks good with the mazda emblem only. Good ol' fishing line or floss will take the old ones right off!
