Rear diff mounts
Does anyone have any advice on the procedure to remove the rear diff mounts? I have some solid ones coming next week and hope to get those installed. I managed install the solid front diff mount today but didnt have a clue on how to remove the old rear mounts. Any advice is welcome.

You need to drop the subframe and swap it out. No press.
It's do-able with rear wheels removed, end link loosened and subframe dropped.
If you do hard launches (drag races etc) would be wise to install a pinion snubber. A simple polyurethane one with just a shaft. There's a write up somewhere few years back. I think I wrote one back in the days. Pretty simple.

the metal shell is split halves.. so using a large bit in the drill you can drill the rubber strategically in several points
and flare it around till the one of the outer halves no longer attaches to the center
at this point you can knock this half out ,, and the other more intact half falls out when done

Thanks for the speedy responses.
This sounds do-able in my case. I will grab my spare and practice on it. Before I had no idea but this gives me a starting point. If anyone has pics would be awesome.
