Rear Diff Mount?!?!

I looked it up on AllData and It doesn't show me how to replace the mount. Doest anyone have some kind of digram or step by step instructions? Thank You!

The bagging is driving me insane!

you have to unbolt the whole rear subframe and swing it down.. I have never done this, but aparantly the bolts are huge and you wont have a problem finding them, after that you should have good access to the diff mount.

Which diff mounts?

The two rear round ones or the front square one?

You can get both from Mazdatrix

It's not super hard but it is time and some what a PITA to get the subframe down.

It's only like 8 bolts total. but the hardest thing is that the front diff mount bolts(2) are on the top of the subframe and hard to get at.

You need to drop the subframe about 5-8 inches to really get in there.

Also make sure you TIGHTEN those 2 down!!!!
I didn't do it enough on my 88 SE and the mounts moved around and broke the mount on the subframe. I then had to weld a new piece in.

I think I have a regular mount around here if you need it. It looks like it's in good condition.

I have a Mazdatrix comp mount on my 88 SE but I doubt you want to go through the trouble to get it off.
