Rear Counter weight question...
Can anyone say, without a doubt, that I can use a 93+ rear counter weight on my S5 TII?
I see that Mazdatrix has the same part number for 89 and up but the front counter weight is different. But if I recall correctly, the 93+ uses the same rotors as the S5 so the rear CW should be the same. I'm just confused on how the front counter weight has a different part number.
I just dont want to purchase one and install one and find out my engine vibrates like a mother.

The rotors are not the same - check the part numbers. The weights and compression are the same, but stack two next to each other, they are slightly different.
The front counterweight has a different part number because the eccentric shaft that it’s bolted to is different. Look at the front of the two e-shafts and it’s readily apparent. The oil bypass/crank pulley bolt is bigger on the FD, as is the thrust bearing, there are crank trigger sensors, the whole front of the e-shaft is different. That being the case, it should come as no surprise that the front counterweight is different.
