i have an 88 rx7 i found a bumper from an 89 i would ilke to know if the bumper skin from the 89 will fit my bumper before i buy it. i have noticed that my moulding on my bumper is different than the 89's can it be switched thanx and some pics would help

I dont see why it wouldnt fit

 

it fits. you just may have to make some new bolt holes in the bumper because they do not line up perfectly, but it will fit with slight modification.

 

The moulding will not match and you will be required to replace all the moulding on the car to match it to S5 bumpers.

You can not remove the moulding from the bumper. It is part of the cover.
