As long as the screws are out, take some lug nuts and screw them on to the studs to protect the threads, then hit the inner part of the rotor around the studs to free it. It's rusted fast.

yep. if you're going to replace the rotors, just bang the hell out of them with a hammer.

if all else fails, unbolt the big center nut of the hub. take the whole rotor/hub asembly off the car and take it to a machine shop and ask them to press it out. i know it sounds extreame but i had to do it on my fronts a while back, trust me its easier in th long run if you cant get them off with a few good hammer whacks. like the other guys said, be carefull whaking at them is you plan on reausing.

Err... there is an extra threaded hole on the rotors next to one fo the screw holes.. you should take one of the screws and screw it in untill the rotor breaks loose.
Althought you don't care about your older rotors,.... you still risk damaging the bearings if you decide to hammer it.

do what slacker 7 said, thats what the hole in the hub part of the rotor is designed for, re pop off rusten on rotors, stick a bolt in there, it pushes against the hub and pops the rotor off, by banging it you can damage the hub bearins like slacker7 said. -alex

Yes, do as Razorback said TAP IT. Didn't think I needed to stress that you don't hit it with a 5 lb. sledge to break it loose. In all my years, I've never lost a bearing doing this. If it is rusted on, the long bolts dont have enought thread to push the rotor away from the hub. They still need help.

Not that I'm aware of. I used WD40 to remove the rear sensors when installing hub bearings 2 years ago...no problems.
