Really Rich Idle!

Hey guys,

I'm running really rich during idle, don't know where to turn to. I have suspicion it might be the AFM, its not the timing, tps, or bac, or idle mixture, as those were all fine when i checked, and adjusted them b4 any of this even happened. BTW, this happened right after i raced a 01' SS with exhaust, I only lost by a car! I pulled in second, but after that he gained on my till we were about the same in 4th, then we both shut down...

Thanks a bunch!
Rocky

p.s. should i try a N/A AFM to lean out my mixture or go with a turbo one?

I had a problem like this before. I was blowing flames at an idle it was crazy. My MAFS door got stuck open. You might wanna look at that. I got an NA MAFS and put it on and it fixed all my problems including some idle problems. Good luck
