Really desperate, no start, please help!

So, my car will not start, and I'm thinking it has something to do with my ignition unit. I have a fuel cut off switch in my car and when I turn my ignition, the fuel pump will not turn on. I've applied 12v directly to it and it works just fine. But, when I put it in the car and hook it up, it will not turn on. I know it's not a problem with the cut off switch, so I'm thinking that maybe it's a problem with my ignition. The coils are getting spark and all of my fuses are still good. The car was rebuilt about 20k miles ago, so it shouldn't be a blown engine or anything. I have 2 jobs and college to go to, so I need my car back ASAP, so any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Well did you check to see if you switch the fuel to be back on again? I mean fuel cut off switch is basicly turning it on when you are cracking the car... Check if you see it is turned on or off.

Okay... if you are getting spark you can rule out anything what so ever to do with the ignition.

Sounds like the fuel cut off is bad, if you jumper it or the yellow fuel pump diagnostic connector under the hood does the car work???

what makes you think that the cut off is good??? First thing I would be looking at is to see if that cut off switch is micky moused or bad.

I have seen fuel cut switches cause the 10 AMP fuse under the drivers side dash to blow. Might want to check there too.
