help me please- i tried to push start my 7 with two of my friends and we could only manage to get the car to about 12 to 14 mph(est) and i jumped in pushed in the clutch stuck it in 1st and dropped the clutch and it started for about 4 seconds- putted and died- was i pushing it fast enough or should it had stayed started-also when it started i hit the gas was i suppose to do that -HELP! i almost got this thing started

p.s. my starter stoped working from doing all that cranking for all those weeks

 

You sound so close.Any of your friends have a car?If they do try towing it---put your car in 3rd gear(it's easier on the driveline),tow it to 20-30 mph and release the clutch pedal,yes you will have to give gas until it smoothes out.
