RE Engine Question
Hey,
I have an RE in my car, and it looks like the front cover is sitting on my steering rack.. Anyone have this issue, or guidance on how to fix it? The oil pan is also very close/hitting the rack. It is a manual rack installed, I believe.
Any and all help is appreciated! Here are a couple pics to show what I am talking about!

It could be the engine mounts for the RE, cause for the RE they have to be fabricated
and if the person that made them did not do his/her math correctly then it could be misaligned, too high, or what could be your case "too low". Or to far forward
Oh, is affecting you steering at all, or anything else, or does the clearance issues just bother you cause of the look of it.

The re motor mount brackets are from banzai, also the poly engine mounts are from banzai racing. So maybe I should ask banzai why we are having this problem...

i had a problem like that too with my re in my s5. i just spaced the mounts a little. gave it just enuff clearance that it wouldnt hit the rack anymore. then i tied the motor in with mazdatrixs triangulated strut tower with toqure brace. all is well.
