the trouble with recordings are that they are quite inaccurate.. you end up picking up alot of road noise etc that generally doesn't come out at you when you're actually in the car .. exhaust end up sounding alot louder this way...

the Dynomax ultraflow is actually a good muffler.. it will hold up to the heat, it's cheap and it flows great .. the only problem being the noise that comes outta it .. it drones pretty bad and makes your car sound like a chainsaw (if you run it without cat's etc)
Where as the plesantly loud, the ultraflow is jsut plain loud

But hell, if you don't mind the noise, it's a good muffler..

I just bought a Dynomax 3" Ultra Flow muffler. The inside of which is 4"
it was $75
Not fancy looking but hoping it does it job
Im going to paint it flat black with a 3" chrome Tip
single system 3" from downpipe all the way to single muffler
with no cats

I hope it wont be too lound
Hey kabooski...how hard was that TII swap? What all did you need and did you put it in yourself? If someone else put it in, how much did they charge? Thanks.

I bought the motor for $600 with computer,harness,boost sensor
and selonoid resistor.
then I spendt another $800 rebuilding and mild porting

I did put it in my self (which I have not ever done)
It was not very hard..the hardess part was the mating to tranny and getting the motor mounts in

It takes 2 for that job

I used NA tranny by swapping out the TII flywheel and counterwieght for my GXL's motor..

to put in a motor and take out the old one
the average cost for that labor is $500


I plan to be running low 13's soon
with good exhaust,fuel regulator,walbro fuel pump and raising boost to 10PSI
and a NPR Intercooler
this on pure street tires
