Rb race header
What is teh difference between Rb race and street headers? The race one is $50 cheaper and you can go true dual later on without cutting it up. Does it come with a 02 sensor bung?
I'll probably get a race header and get my mechanic to weld up a 2 2"into 1 2.5" collector. Then go Borla XR1 for presilencer and keep the magnaflow i have on now. What do you guys think of this set up?
One more question, how long should i keep the primaries separate until the collector? Is it best to collect them right away after the header ends or keep them separate a bit longer? Any advantages either way?
Chers,
Jakob

The roadrace header does not come with an O2 bung. You can get them from Summit for $5 and have your exhaust guy weld them in. The system you are describing will be very loud. It's similar to the system on my track car except I don't have the Borla in front. Mine's definetly not streetable. The collector can also be sourced from Summit. It's a Flowmaster part. Racing Beat says the system can have long or short primaries. For stock ports the primary length on a short system should be somewhere between 15-25" and for the long system the collector hould be between 113-125". You should call RB if you want to get it exactly right as their recommendations have many variables. They also recommend a 2" pipe.
