We only have one header..so no reason for the "S" (Sorry big pet peeve of mine... )

To answer your question, no the RB presilencer will not bolt up to the stock exhaust manifold. You either want the RB N/A downpipe to bolt to the stock manifold, or get the RB header, and then the presilencer.

RB actually sells the downpipe with the presilencer and all needed equipment for about 300 dollars. I just got it myself and it works great.

I hate to be an ***.... BUT, I have to... When its the stock part.. its the exhaust manifold, headers are a different animal!!!

however.... the RB downpipe and Presilencer are freaking awesome!!!!

PS... Racing beat will tell you to go with the downpipe and presilencer if you are planning to keep your fuel injection. They only suggest the headers if you are changing to a carb or adding a supercharger to your car.

I know that is what they tell you, and it even states it on their website. However, I dont think you can argue that just about anyone that has installed a header onto their N/A FC (Including me) has noticed a decent gain. I also believe it has been dyno proven to pick up a fair amount of power, and broaden and raise the powerband of the engine. The stock exhaust manifold is a restrictive POS as far as I am concerned..

Just installed the RB header and pre-silencer on 89 NA and it feels like the car has gained some hp. I agree the stock manifold is crap. The header takes up less space and cleans up the engine compartment as well. I wouldn't buy the combo just for the cleaned up engine area. The install was easy and fit perfectly using the stock y-pipe.
