RB presilencer hanger/boltup location?
Hey folks. So I picked up an RB presilencer in an attempt to quiet down my exhaust. For some reason I built the engine (NA) with turbo rotor housings, so it's mind-bending-ly loud. I used to not care when I was younger, but now I do.
The plan is to go back to the stock manifold, 2.25" tubing -> presilencer -> 2.5" cat -> RB catback exhaust.
What I was curious about is if anyone could let me know what the stock boltup location for the presilencer is? By that, I mean the tab that sticks out the side of it... does a hanger of some sort go together with it there? And if so, what type and where goes it hang from? Or is it a rigid support?
I ask because, well, if it's meant to be supported there, I'd like to emulate some support for it, if possible, when I install it in front of my converter.
God, why couldn't Mazda have made those exhaust sleeves a bolt-in piece! I guess you're not really "meant" to change them. oh well.
Thanks!

Yes, the stock rubber hanger that normally attaches to the front of the main cat gets attached to the bracket on the presilencer. RB's downpipe and header stop about 3" short of the original cat location to fit the long presilencer pipe, which is why the bracket is mounted partway down the tube.
