RB and CorkSport exhaust: which one?

Well I need to get a downpipe and midpipe to be able to use my FEED cat back. WHat would you guys recommend?

RB:
2.5" $245

Corksport:
3.125" $250

I have the RB Complete 3" turbo back now, I would like to keep that size, but I am not sure of the quality of the Corksport Power series exhaust.

Stay with the RB turbo-back. And BTW the RB turbo-back IS 80mm which is the same as CS. I wouldn't go for any CS exhaust that I have seen as of yet. Too ricer looking and sounding.

How can he replace the RB DP with the CS or 2.5" RB if the RB turbo-back doesn't match up with anything else? He would have to get rid of it all or nothing. Unless he is getting a custom pipe to match them up.

Maybe I did not phrase that correctly, I havethe 3" RB Turbo back, I got a FEED cat back last fall, and it does not fit up to the DP and MP exhaust. So I am forced to sell the complete system.

What I am asking about is should I go with RB or Corksport for the DP and MP to use with my FEED Exhaust? The Feed is 80mm if that helps at all...

rb

2.5" is ******* worthless on a turbo car. and RB is rice in disguise, ie: they make stupid **** (dual exits for turbo cars, tiny "hiflo" cats, tiny DPs, etc.) that costs a LOT.
CS has an 80mm catback, it seems to be of good quality, and its cheap, (<$300). who cares what it sounds like if it makes power? What makes a loud Honda ricey if it can whoop your *** N/A?

I can't I have to cut the midpipe or downpipe and reweld it, besides it pretty much sold already.

As for the sound I really do not care if it is loud, Since the FEED is 80mm, that is the only thing swaying me towards the CS, so it is 3" all the way back...I am also not sure of the quality of the CS stuff...

The fact that it uses a fart can. I'd rather preserve my ears on the street and avoid a noise polution infraction than be cheap. RB has proven itself to me with quality and great support. CS doesn't have that. I like CS too but RB wins over CS hands down. Rice to most people is something that is worthless and is used mearly for appearances and to attract attention. The CS exhaust line fits far better into the mold of rice that is commonly used on this board not only mine. He asked for my oppinion and I gave it. Your going to call me a ricer for demanding quality from my exhaust maker? Who's defenition is wrong

I think people are too worried about rice then whats good for the car; thats my opinion. There are about 6 exhaust systems around for the fc so be happy with what u got.

F_CK RICE! I just want a good quality DP and MP. So what are you trying to say that the CS is rice? Or the RB is rice? I just think since I have a 80mm catback that it would be better to get a 80mm DP and MP, wouldn't that be wise?

First of all why are you selling the RB setup? I remember someone in the rotary performance section running 400WHP with that setup so whats the reason for switching?

He literally already has that DP. The 80mm DP sold by RB is the same one sold with the turboback.

195 for a 3" dp/mp combo part. That should hook up to your "FEED" stuff.

Looks like I will have to go with the RB DP and MP... I should have clled them before I posted, CS is out of them until March 15, and I need them sooner...I should have my engine in by this week end Oh well sorry for making you guys argue a bit.. hehe

One thing to consider.
Corksport does not have a Silencer unit in production right now.

That's what swayed me to RB. I got the 2.5 because my CS single catback is 2.5 tapered to 3.

I got the RB DP and the presilencer so running catless will be "quieter".

The Presilencer is 2.5 I believe.
