RB catback questions

Hey all

as of now im thinking conservative, and instead of a full turbo back RB setup im going to go Catback. but my questions are if i just get a catback system that raises the hp very small like 7~8 hp will this increase my boost as much so i would need a FCD? and fuel mods?

the stock catback is pretty free flowing, i think replacing it only gives you like 1.5psi or so.
im sure with downpipe or something else you might need an fcd, but its nice to have one anyways.
why not get a downpipe? more power than a catback.
but dont take my word for it, might want to wait for someone elses response to verify anything

anyone wanan clarify/confirm node?

PS i dont want a DP cause i have to keep it emissions legal and i dont have as much money to spend on a full exhaust, and plus noise is a factor too. its nice right now a little more noise isnt bad but still i live in the burbs

I'd say you won't need an FCD if its the only thing you are getting done.

Its not that the stock cat-back is good its just that the stock cats suck so much that the mufflers don't get enough exhaust at a time to be a problem. lol

Just as above. If your installing a RB cat back sytem you'll notice very little change, if any. A little deeper sound, but no gain in performance if your car still has the factory mufflers. If your replacing aftermarket "stock" mufflers, you may notice a little improvement, but you'll not need a FCD.
