I have a RB manual boost controller , recently it started making a rapid clicking noise every once and a while while my car was under boost , I didnt think too much of it , until I was acelerating and my boost gauge shot up to 18 psi ... now I'm abit paranoid

anybody have a clue why it would do that... I looked for vac leaks and didnt see any ...
