Question Rattle underneath the car.

Just last night i was driving and when i'd stop at a stop sign at start to go at around 1000 rpm a rattle came from underneath the car, it was late so i didn't get a chance to look under and i haven't today but i was thinking maybe the exhaust hanger came loose? I'm pretty sure its the exhaust its souns like metal vibrating on metal, my exhaust is loud so i could only faintly hear it at around 3000rpm which seams to be the the highest rpm for most vibration from the exhaust. so what do u guys think it could be.

Do you have the stock exhaust system, or a replacement?

The reason I ask is, the extra hot & sharp exhaust pulses from a rotary engine will bang the baffels loose in standard silencers & mufflers.

This is especially true for NA's with headers.

Ditto...Check around the junction points of the first two heat shield sections- they like to rust out there...

I have the same problem and also Magnaflow mufflers. I’ve been under the car and I can’t get it to rattle. Visually it looks fine with nothing broken off.

Used to have a rattle. Turned out to be the air return line vibrating against the forward heat shield. Used some picture wire to secure the arl and that was the end of that.
