Rats nest removal

I saw a thread awhile ago with a really good step-by-step on removing the rats nest, but now I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know a good thread that might give me alittle more insite on this? I have a 91 n/a and the stuff I've run across doesn't have all the answers I'm looking for.

After reading the info on those links I have pulled all the stuff off, but am wondering about one thing, on the fuel rail ( series 5 turbo ) that fits into the LIM, not the block, at the end of the rail (flywheel end ) there is a vacuum line, once removing all the piping it has nothing to plug into, I am unsure after reading everything what this does and if it is nessecary to be connected to anything?

Don't have digi camera.
Ok, if you were looking from the rear of the motor at the upper intake manifold, you see the end of the fuel rail, the piece on the end has a vac line on it, what to connect that to?

That's the fuel pressure regulator and it's very important. It should be connected to the angled nipple on the inside of the LIM.

Well thanks for that, I just went out and had a look and there is only one nipple thats faces on an angle towards the rear of the motor, can't go wrong.
Cheers!
