Rat rod gauge cluster

I wanted to make a holder for my gauges and was originally going to use some polycarbonaten but that cracked too easily when I drilled through it. I looked around and saw an old NO PARKING sign I found a long time ago.

I cut it up, drilled it and mounted them perfectly. I think I found a theme for my car now...it already matches under my hood.

Under my hood for reference.

EDIT:

I figure I'll throw this in for the hell of it since it kinda goes with the rat rod thing.

I used to have this 3' flexible hose tied to the sway bar to prevent rubbing the pulleys.

And recently replaced it with a 1.5" chrome plated brass plumbing J-pipe from Lowe's with a 3/4"threaded->1/2" nipple JB welded. I did this so I could hook up my heater hose again. The heat isn't that important, but the defog is nice.

Uh, umm...

What the hell are you doing to that car?

(That is a serious question.)

Not everything may be pretty but they all serve their function.

The only thing I really want to redo is the wiring for the battery relocation. I thought I had enough to run under the car...I didn't.

Yeah, it always amazes me how much cable is really required. I run it through the car instead of under it now.

I kind of have it 50/50. I ran it under the carpet, through the firewall and along the back of the engine bay. It seems to be alright now. Maybe I should just put some cable wrap to make it blend better.
