Rarest and I getting our shine on!!!!

RarestRX and I were parked right next to each other this year at 7stock. J9FD3S is to the right of my car in his white 88 T2. I took some shots of Kevin and I's cars together, the 2 cleanest FCs you will ever see!!

If you look reaaaal close you can see where Kevin waxed his brake pads!

bah mine was cleaner I used the Zaino wax befor I drove out.

As long as you ignored the dent in my pass side fender or the peeling bumper strip it was nice

Your CYM is pretty damn nice.

Better wacth out though. Us AZ guys are coming up with some nice FC's

Jrat

Mine

and of course Carx7

Unfortunately we didn't bring our cameras this year.

Next year if the Stock will be back I plan to have my stuff done better and of course Carx7 will rip his car apart 15 times in between now and then to get it perfect

Oh and Props to you for donating the Wiper/Idiot switches for the raffle!

It sucked. Some Rx8 guy got the wiper switch but it's was a cool prize.

I've been saying it for years, Kevin's GTUs is far and away my favorite modded NA FC around. It's ridiculously clean in and out, each mod is tasteful and purposeful and he doesn't cheap out. I would absolutely LOVE to drive his car. Yes, a TII owner (well, NA converted to TII) would love to drive an NA CYM's car is also a beauty...a little Japanese flavor here in the US

Yo,

Thanks for all the compliments! This was one of the best Sevenstocks in awhile! Driving into the Second Gen section and having Seth saving me a spot next to the CYMFC3S was too cool for words. I had a crappy spot last year, but now I had one of the best ones!

Having my car next to his is like having a lit match next to a puddle of gas. FIYAH!! There always seemed to be a crowd next to both our cars, they definitely seemed to be a hit. I'm glad I made my brag board with all the mods/dyno sheet etc.

Seth, I stuck around to take pics but you disappeared! Then I see pics of you at Racing Beat parked exactly where I was parked, you must have come up later.

Rob and I hit Glendora Mtn. Road that night and I got to see a WRX go into the side of the canyon at 50mph. Done! That road is crazy.

Oh! Then on the way back I had a nice talk with a CHP officer on the top of the Grape Vine. He gave me a nice yellow slip of paper to remember him by. *grin*

All in all it was a great Sevenstock, you can really tell when Mazda steps up...having all the Le Mans cars there was sweet...even if the 787B is making me put drops in my ears to heal 'em up! *snicker*

Good seeing J-Rat, Dave Gibson, Seth, Mike and all the rest of the So Cal/Nor Cal/AZ crew.

Hopefully see ya guys next year at Laguna Seca!!

This was one of the better Sevenstocks, it was nice having Yours, Mikes and my car all together.

I hung around pretty late, but i was totally beat from being in the sun all damn day. I needed to hit the shower and relax in some A/C. I was looking for you at the Racing Beat event, I must have just missed you. I kinda lucked out, the guys from RX-7 Magazine spotted my car and did a photo shoot of my yellow car and my black Cosmo T2. They did a write up on me and my girlfriend (as well as MtnRacer and his girlfriend.) It was great. I should appear in November's issue (hit stores in the USA in December.)
I wish you were there, i would have had them take some pics of your car.

That's actually a GP sports kit, with M-sports fenders. 30mm rear, 20mm front. I guess that width refers to the additional tire clearance allowed, but the outside of the fender is WAY bigger than either one of those. I'll probably be running 275 rear and 255 front, though I could probably go wider in the back... maybe.

Unfortunately I don't have any straight on pics. My camera broke so I have to rely on other people to have taken pics for me

There are a few other pics of the car in this post:
