my water pump was replaced last week cause it was leaking through the weap hole. I bought a rebuilt one (most are) instead of paying more for a brand new one.

and now I can't rev past 4-5k under load cause the whole car shakes like hell. it goes away with the fan off. I swaped fans and same thing. I pulled the pulley off last night to relook and everything seems fine. I guess the rebuilt pump is not balenced or the shaft is a bit bent or something... so next week I'll have to change it again after bitching at the store.

pay more and get new stuff!! cause this blows.

 

thats why you dont use rebuilt water pumps.
