Random power loss and gain

turboII with 150K on original motor. w/ exhuast and downpipe, bov, hks filter.

it seems strange and no one i ask can figure it out. 80% of the time my car is gutless. the turbo spools fine, makes 4-5 lbs of boost. runs ok for an old motor but there will be these times where it will flat out hual and make about 7psi (i've seen 7 psi to be normal) and i'll pull over and leave my car running for about 10 minutes while i get a soda or something and come back and the car is gutless again.

oh yeah and there is a slight hesitation at 3500 rpms but i don't think that is anything serious.

With the modified intake & exhaust, you may be hitting the ECU's max boost fuel cut.
