Random detonation after car wash

Long story short, I sprayed my engine bay cleaning it today before a car show and afterwards when I was boosting it in the higher gears I heard a sound not being sure what it was I boosted it again and the noise occured, the knock reading on my power fc read 167!, normally it's never over 100.... The noise happened quite a few times before I realized....

I just installed an msd6al2 and the car hasn't idled nicely since, I don't think the detonation is related to the msd but what do you think?, I test dove it and it was fine after the msd, after the detonation I turned the car off then back on and it was fine....

Could something have got wet and caused the car to detonate?, it hasn't occured since.... Help!

I don't think I'd be spraying my engine compartment anymore :P

I really have nothing to add other than that. That is a strange occurance though. I don't think I'd freak out as long as that was the one and only time it happened and didnt happen again.

At one point it started to idle nicely, it has a power fc and I've tried to re learn the idle with no avail, it sounds like the car has a miss at idle but perfect otherwise, since the msd box it idles lean, perhaps I need a re tune?

Any ideas guys?, the onlybissue now is that the idle is lumpy and running ~15:1 AFR, it was mid 12's prior

Have you tried a timing light?

I haven't tried a timing light but I have kept an eye on the timing with the power fc, they haven't changed.... Maybe the stronger spark efficiently burns the fuel better?, causing lean on idle?
