Since I got 91 n/a coupe 2 weeks ago, I went to mazda dealership for full turning up 2 days ago. As lots of people recommand, I had 60.000mile maintaince and cleaning transmission. I paid $450 it was aftrer 10% D/C. :_: I had automatic seat-belt problem, but they fix it for free.^_^
Anyway the problems is still I can hear random beep sound from dash, sometimes once, twice, or 5 times:_:. According to people in mazda, it's because of seat belt problem which they already fixed it. Tomorrow I going to see mechanic and test drive with him to hear beep sound together.
My question is that is this really because of seat-belt problem? If it is, it is safe to ask mechanic to turn it off?
or something else.
I already checked FAQ for FC, but non of them are mensioned for seat-belt problem.

PS. Whenever I hear any beep sound, the seat-belt light is on too at most times, but not evey times....

 

If it was a seat belt problem, the dealer must fix it under the lifetime recall of the seat belt system.

The other thing to look at would be the power steering computer, which also beeps
