foglight ?s

does any one know which wire is connected to the fog lights, coming from the headlight switch?

I think my switch is burned out and I don't feel like buying a new one.

Can I ask why you would want to know? Do they not turn on? not turn off? The foglight switch on a US version is on the console next to the power mirror control, or AAS switch, or security system light in the middle. I'm not sure on the Canada version, because I think they consider them daytime running lights there and I don't know if there is a switch.

I have an american version, 91 vert. There is no actual foglight switch, they come on with the headlights.

I think I fried the switch when replacing the bulbs. I didn't feel like buying a new switch.

I was installing DRLs today and while I was behind theinstrument bezel, I wanted to get them working. So, I was just going to somewhat connect the foglight wires to the headlight wires. I was also going to connect the break lights to another switch. Probably run them all through a relay so they will turn on/off with the ignition.

I was also thinking that I wight just run a separate switch from the foglight wires so I could control them outside of the headlights.

thanks
john

if you look at aaron cake's website, there is a write up on which wire you need to ground in order to get fog light action.

that write up tells you haow to turn the headlights on without the switch, I believe it is a separate wire for the fog lights.

Maybe if anyone has a wiring diagram of the headlights.
