Angry Ran car few days with Intial Set Connector jumped...really bad?!

Man, I goofed. I set my idle but I forgot to remove the jumper wire that I put into the intial set connector near the Leading Coil. I drove like that for 2 days and the car didn't go that good. I just noticed it today and yanked that thing out...would I HAVE DONE DAMAGE to my engine by leaving it in?
