FD to FC

Looks like I'm selling my FD to raise cash for a house.

A buddy of mine has an NA FC he will sell me under $2000 so it seems I'll be spending less time in the 3rd gen forum and more time in here.

I've seen some performance numbers at about 8.5 sec 0-60 and 16.5 sec1/4 mile.
I hope to improve that.

Where are all the good FC sites?

If your a 1st time buyer for that house, then you can get one of the "1st time home buyer" loans with $0 downpayment.

Wow - where to begin on the fc3s sites.

Well there's:
teamfc3s.com
fc3s.com
mariahmotorsports.com
rx-7.com
rxx7.com
mazdatrix.com
corkspot.com
2ndgenrx7.freeservers.com

and that's the tip of the iceberg.

The 2nd gens probably have more websites and a larger user base than the 3rd gens.

For performance, you'd probably want to look at the GTU, GTU-S, and TII models.

The GXL and convertible models are not the most powerful, but are luxurious and make a great daily driver.

The NA models can make about 220HP with a ported engine and stage 1 upgrades. The TII can make 600+HP with a 2 or 3 rotor engine.

A few pics for ya:

My personal car:

1992 FC3S Turbo II rx-7

Now everyone's favorite - Bodykits.
The 2nd gens have a timeless look, but it's not hard to give them a modern look either
