rally fc?

Hi, I am interested in getting into stock class rally racing. I own a 88rx7n/a, and I was wondering what kind of springs would allow me to keep stock height but still ensure a higher spring rate?

i personally dont feel our cars belong off road, but thats me man, but i can tell you that there are plenty of springs that can get you higher rates, check your stock rate and search from there. parts are limitless for our suspension.

Racing Beat springs generally don't lower the car very much.

I'm also interested in good non-lowering springs, mostly just because roads around here suck. I need to rebuild my suspension, but $500 for a set of stock springs is unreasonable.

You can look for / create spacers that mount at the spring perch. You can then select lowering springs while maintaining your desired ride height.

Remember that your stock springs are probably sagging, so if you get springs with a very mild drop it will not be significant at all to where it is sitting now.

thanks for the information guys it was alot of help but im jus having a hard time finding out the spring rates on most performance springs... when i find a site they usually just tell me how ,much they lower the car.

what i want to get is some springs that are rated at 300 in front and 350 in back and i was wondering if this sounded good for rally? from my research that is around the same as other people.

There is some info on spring rates here, but nothing in that range. http://www.mazdatrix.com/h4586-92.htm

You may want to look at some coil over setups?
