Question Radio Recpetion

I just recently(yesterday) go my windshield replaced, before that the power antenea didn't work/wasn't there, and the radio had decent recpetion with little to no static, now i get barly no reception at all, the guy said that he caught the antenea with his knife while pulling the old windshield off, any suggestions how i can get this fixed, its not really important, i've got a panasonic cd/mp3 player + speakers to put in, just wondering if i can get that fixed, that and the tape deck will read the tape but wont produce anything, tape comes out hot like it was in use

Thx For Any Help The Thread Gets

If the windsheild antenna has been damaged and your rear antenna is not working you will need to fix or replace one of them if you want reception.

Goto Pep Boys (or similar) and get a solid mast (rear) antenna, or anywhere that carries the Harrada brand. It has much better sensitivity than the factory power antenna, and is under $10. I would avoid the Scosche or generic brands.
By the way, it is common for the antenna lead to get "cut", when getting a new windshield, but I doubt it was accidental...but, rather for time savings on the installers part.
