Have a 86 GXL, that uses a Clarion system with an additional front plug, cassette tape player's gone bad and technically the radio receiver but I could care less about the radio. Ended up buying 2 units one with a equalizer and one without, both of which turned out to be Fujitsu which both have a different cassette tape player connector (doesn't use the brown prong) and is missing the extra prong for the front speakers next to the radio line. Are either of them actually compatible either in parts or as a whole with my current system or do I actually need to hunt down another Clarion? I had one of the Fujutsu hooked up at one point, worked ok but radio turned off with the lights on so I just left it unhooked.
Is this the unit you are looking for? I picked this one up a couple years ago to do some documentation on the differences between the S4 and S5 stereo systems. It has a new set of belts in the tape deck because the old ones were completely dry rotted and broken. Very clean on the inside though.
Yea pretty much, I did a replacement on my belt a bit back but other things are failing on the cassette, all the other units I've been finding have been Fujitsu. You selling and willing to ship?
