i got a 86 gxl and the radio will reset every once and a while when im driving
when i got a tape in, it will sound like it skips or somthin
when the radio resets, the presets will be erased too

plze help

make sure its grounded right

well, first i'd pull it out and check the connections on the back especialy power to the unit also the fuse on the back might be making intermiten contact.

 

bad solder joint inside the radio.
