Question Radio antenna opening block-off plate?

Radio antenna opening block-off plate?

Does anyone know if such a product exists? I would like to block-off the power antenna opening on my FC because I don't listen to the radio and I think it will give the car a much cleaner apperance. Some day when I have the $$$ to repaint my car I could just fill over the aforementioned block-off plate and be done with it.

Has anyone done this before?
Isaac

You can buy little rubber plugs to stuff into the hole. Thats all you can do if you dont want to get into paint pretty much.

Is there a generic rubber plug that will exactly fill the hole? If so, where can I get one? That would be ideal for my current situation!

Thanks,
Isaac

If you're that dead-set on blocking off your electric antenna hole and you want a cleaner look, then instead of jamming some plate or plug in there, leave it as is for now, and once you take it to get painted have them fill the hole. The shop can tack weld a plate to the inside and fill it. Then, you'll never know it was there.

Take off the stock antenna and measure the gap. Generic auto parts stores should have little rubber plugs for inserting into empty holes in the firewall, just say you need one for the size of the radio antenna hole.
