Calsonic makes radiators in Japan.
They are nothing special.

Mazda redid the cooling system.  Early Zenki FC's (i.e. 1986 and early 1987) have just one cap.  Later Zenki FC's have two - one on top and one of the rad.

i have an early zenki 87 gxl with a filler on both rad and top.

maybe it's because it is a left hand drive spec purchased in england?

I think the Series V cars went with one filler cap again and the gooseneck extension in the 89-91 years.

It might've been replaced by the Mazda dealer.

Is it all shiny silver aluminum?
If it's just black, then it's nothing special.

back in '87 there was a company in england that my pops bought the rex from that sold mazdas that were built to american specs. it made it a lot easier to ship back to the states. i think they are out of business now.

funny thing is though, originally the car also had km/h gage cluster instead mp/h, and a power driver's seat. both were removed prior to shipping the car back to the states.
