radiator or water pump trouble?
ok here is my problem....as i posted before i was getting any respoces, well i was getting them not to helpfull. i apoligize to thoughs who did respond.
i blew a rad hose then replaced the hose and thermostat, and flushed the rad.
after that i seem to have been having to fill up my rad almost every time i drive now becuase im loosing cooler up by the filler neck
i have rulled out coolent seal's because my car has never over heated before. and it doesnt smoke at start up (unless its cold)
i also notice the overflow tank being filled but never fills the rad back up. like it doesnt suck it back in
i was wondering if a cause of this could be due to a seal in the water pump. or the rad?
also when ever i sqweeze the bottom rad hose i feel ambient air coming threw the block threw the filler neck.
what do you think?

If the overflow fills and doesnt unfill, its either a water seal or a hole in the overflow line somewhere. Before the waterpump goes it will weep out the weep hole on top,.. unless it just blows up like mine did.

what do you mean you're loosing coolant up by the filler neck? is there a leak there? if so, that's the problem. the overflow will always be full because coolant is being pushed out when the system is hot and being replaced by air sucked in through the hole when it cools. i'd also take out the sparkplugs and see if they're rusted or have a green film on them. Also, try the geyser test. do a search for it if you don't know what i'm talking about.

There are 2 sealing systems in the filler neck. One is the gasket at the base where the thermostat goes. The other is an o-ring at the top of the neck, below the platic base for the rad cap mount. If you took the o-ring out, they usually swell and won't stay in place during re-assembly.
If the leak is at the very top of the filler neck, just below the hose, take the hose off and look for pitting where the hose is clamped over the neck. Most of the ones I've had apart have pitting and corrosion. If you didn't remove the corrosion, you probably won't get a good seal.

well the resuvoir hose is brand new... and the gyser test showed there was no bubbles or gushing...no smokeing at start up. and starts up just fine. i also just put the air pump back on till i get the double pulley. Is it possible i could just be putting to much coolent in?
any thoughts?

Pin hole leaks-pressure ck!!!
Pin hole leaks, particularly when hidden by other equipment, are hard to find. Borrow a pressure tester from kragen or one the other parts houses and check your system. Even such may not find them. The problem is, very fine pin holes won't leak much coolant but when the system pulls a vacumn when cooling they pass air quite readily. I sometimes wonder how many rebuilds are done when the seals aren't really shot. The best check is a very complete visual inspection. They need to found because getting air into the cooling system is sure to eventually cause seal failure.

gotchya first tho im going to gasket seal every damn think that bolts into the cooling system.
including the rad cap then ill go from there see what i get....the reason i dont think that it would be a pin hole leak like in a hose for the resuvoir is because there brand new....but ill check the throttle body one and the back valve one.....are there any down by the water pump that could be leaking? or is it possible the water pump housing could be leaking? after all i did take out one of the bolts to take off the holding braket for the omp lines....maybe that the leak point....either the case im going to get this problem if its the last thing i do. im NOT going to have dead engine on my hands...period
