Radiator Sensors

Im trying to look for the radiator sensors, I know the top one is the Low Coolant Sensor (pls correct me if im wrong) there is another one at the bottom right side when looking from the front of the car. Does anyone know where I can purchase these and whats the name of the second sensor/sensors?

Your help is appreciated.

Regards,

It's the water temperature switch on th bottom left of the radiator. It is emissions related in that it effects the Relief solenoid which in turn effects the ACV operation.

I think at something like 90*F the switch makes and completes a circuit to let the ECU know the water temp is up. If you jumper the two bullet connectors that go to that switch you make the circuit. Seeing as how the water temp is almost always over nintey degrees, you could do that jumper and never miss the switch.

Mazdatrix and any other dealer sells them.

http://www.mazdatrix.com/86-92Electrical-Engine.htm

They, Mazdatrix mislabled it as a Water Thermo sender (at the bottom of the radiator) in the above. NO IMAGE for it on that site.

See your local FSM, Fuel and Emissons section for the function of each sensor/switch. It's function is found in the sub section called Secondary Air Injection Control System. The switch closes when the water temp is approx 59-66*F.

Series four only.

If you are questioning about the bottom sensor then there would be no beeping or warning lights turning on if the sensor was disarmed. If you chose not to use the sensor then disconnect the plug and use a jumper wire to bridge both wires in the plug. You might break the sensor prong(s) off in doing so.

Its not that i dont want to use it, the rad i got doesnt have anywhere to install it. After calling the Rotary doctor yesterday he straightened it all out for me and let me know exactly what you have said. That the bottom plug is solely for emissions and that i dont need it. I just have plug in the low coolant sensor or jumper it and ill get rid of that buzzing. But now im having fuel issues...it never ends
