Radiator Question
Radiator Question
What is the temp sensor in the bottom corner of the radiator used for???
The ECU uses the sensor at the back of the water neck, the stock electric fan uses the sensor at the top of the water neck, and the temp gauge uses the sensor under the oil pressure sensor.
Anybody know???

Yep, emissions control. It's actually just a switch that should close above 59-66degF. It's pretty much redundant once the air pump and ACV are removed.
