Radiator question

I tried to flush out my radiator today. I unscrewed the drain plug on the very bottom on the drivers side but nothing came out. I took off the cap and the water level was at the top but still nothing was comming out.

Does this mean I have a clog and I need a new one?

Also the add coolant buzzer (I think) goes off constantly, would a cloged radiatior cause this?

Don't even mess with the small screw cap. Pull out the lower radiator hose to flush out. Your little hole at the bottem is probably plugged. Stick something in there to loosen whatever is plugging it. You should take it to a radiator shop to have it flushed. It's pretty bad when your hole is plugged with contaminants. Imagaine how the cooling system is.

If there are any signs of "aluma-seal" or "Bar's leak" in the system you will want to find & fix the leak that will show up after you flush the system.

bumb,

would a clog cause the "add coolant" buzzer to go off?
